Headphones volume is not enough? You can always make it louder. Let’s see how.
Headphones are devices that are used to listen sound from electronic devices such as computers, ipods, mp3 players etc. Headphones consist of a speaker and a microphone at times. But many a times these two things are connected with each other. The most important point is that the headphone consist of an amplifier and a diode which helps in creating sound waves in the form of sound or music.
But there is one problem which is faced by many people who use headphones, and that is their headphones are not very loud or their headphones have no volume control. So here I am going to tell you about the way to make your headphone louder.
1. Use a volume booster or equalizer app.
One of the first things I did was download an app called Equalizer + from the app store. It’s simple, easy to use, and it works. It allows you to change the bass and treble on your phone. You can make your own presets or choose from one of theirs. This really helped me hear some of the sounds that were missing in my headphones before.
If your computer comes with a built-in equalizer (most modern Macs and PCs do), try adjusting the Equalizer presets until you find one that makes the music sound better. Even if your computer doesn’t come with an equalizer, there are third party apps that do—just google “volume booster” or “equalizer” and choose one that has good reviews. A good free option is VB Volume Control.
2. Use a different music service
The quality of the music you listen to matters too—some streaming services may not have as high a quality as others do, which could make your music sound less crisp and clear. If you’re listening to music online via Spotify or iTunes, try switching to another service like Google Play Music and see if it makes a difference in how loud your headphones can go.
3. Increase the volume limit
When you’re listening to your music through headphones, there’s an easy way to get it to blast at a louder volume: raise the volume limit on your phone. The iPhone and iPad Music app lets you set a maximum volume for playback so that you don’t blow out your ears. To do this, go to the Phone app, tap the “Settings” icon in the lower-left corner of the screen, then tap “Music.” Now tap the slider next to “Volume Limit” until the maximum volume is at your desired level. This won’t make music sound any better than it would otherwise, but it will make it louder.
4. Tweak your iPhones EQ settings.
If those options don’t help, you can also change some settings on your iPhone. Open up Settings and select “Music”. There will be several options down at the bottom that you can play around with—the most important one is EQ (equalizer), which lets you adjust the frequencies being played by your headphones. You can start with “Flat”, which will let you hear all frequencies equally, or try tweaking one or two of your own favorite settings. These changes may not make a huge difference, but they could help make your music sound better!
5. Check your headphones settings.
Make sure you’re using the right headphones. If they’re not, then you won’t be able to make them any louder. Make sure they’re on the right setting and switch them if necessary to stereo mode or from mono to stereo. There’s nothing worse than having an old set of headphones that refuse to work with your new device!
6. Invest in a portable amp.
It’s no secret that many of us (myself included) are addicted to music. We love it, and we want to hear it as clearly and loudly as possible. But sometimes even the best headphones fall short of our expectations when we’re not in a perfect environment for them. That’s because high-end headphones require a lot more power to produce sound than most devices can deliver. By investing in a portable headphone amp, however, you can get the power boost you need to make your favorite songs sound loud and clear.

The first step is to identify the right amp for you—there are a lot of options out there, ranging from desktop units to battery-powered amps that fit right into your pocket. You’ll have to consider whether portability is important, how much space you have available, and how much money you’re willing spend on an amp that will only be used with certain types of headphones and maybe certain types of music. Once you’ve decided on all those factors, it’s time to choose an amp that fits your needs.

The most popular kind of portable amp is a “dynamic headphone amplifier.” You plug your headphones into the device, then plug the device into your music source (a computer or MP3 player). You’ll notice a difference immediately—sometimes even before you turn it on! The best part about these amps is that you can use them with any pair of headphones, and they’re not expensive at all (you can get a decent one for around $30). One thing about these devices is that they aren’t ideal for portable use —you might have to set up a power source somewhere, and often they require AC power.
You can easily make your headphones louder using these methods, and this will hopefully help you make them louder than ever before!
