The ASUS TUF Gaming A15 Laptop comes with a 15” Full HD display and an 8th Generation AMD Ryzen 7 4800H processor, enabling you to enjoy your favorite games, movies and more. The TUF Gaming features a sleek design with the triple-vented thermal system, which efficiently dissipates heat away from the chassis and allows your laptop to run more efficient. This gaming laptop also features 4GB NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 graphics memory allowing you to experience great visuals for both gaming and entertainment.
Design: The design of this laptop is simple yet elegant. It has an aluminum cover with the TUF Gaming logo on it. The top half of the lid is made of plastic but it does not look cheap at all. The screen comes with thin bezels on three sides which makes it look even bigger than it actually is. The laptop weighs 2.4 kgs which is pretty heavy for any 15-inch laptop but it’s also heavier than most thin laptops out there so if you are looking for a lightweight portable device then this isn’t for you but if you are willing to compromise on weight then this will be perfect for you as it offers great performance along with good battery life.
While the other TUF Gaming notebooks aren’t slouches, the TUF Gaming A15 stands out as a truly impressive piece of hardware. With a fantastic keyboard, great screen and sound, a solid amount of RAM and storage standard, plus generous extras in the box like the X Game Pass subscription, this notebook is hard to beat.
It’s also a well-balanced machine that doesn’t fall down on any one particular aspect; the RGB lighting is tasteful and bright, but not too garish and distracting. The notebook generally runs quietly and cleanly too; few parts of it get hot under load, and there are no annoying fan whines or rattles.
The numerous ports and the RGB lid lighting add a level of customization to this budget-friendly gaming laptop, and the inclusion of an Xbox Game Pass subscription further sweetens the deal. With these features combined with its powerful hardware and Windows 10 operating system, the ASUS TUF A15 is a solid choice for both gamers on a budget and PC enthusiasts wanting to experience Microsoft’s latest platform.
I also appreciate that ASUS did a great job with giving users both macro keys and height adjustments for the keyboard, which are two things that gamers tend to find comforting. All in all, if you don’t mind splurging a little bit of money on your next gaming machine or just need an ultra-powerful laptop to accomplish some work tasks while away from your desk (it happens!), then I highly recommend picking up the ASUS TUF Gaming A15.
ASUS TUF Gaming FX504 provides excellent performance thanks to its processor, which can run the most popular PC games currently available at a high graphics level. It has a large number of ports and slots, ideal for connecting everything you need. It is also equipped with a good keyboard and powerful speakers that will not affect your notebook’s battery life. It has an efficient cooling system, an amazing display, and a simple and elegant design.
Given its specifications and performance, it is cheap for its price. However, it does have some disadvantages such as experiencing notable heating issues after several hours of gaming and acquiring fingerprints on the metal cover when touched.
According to Asus, TUF Gaming motherboards have passed over 100 military-grade tests: a testament to the LGA 1151 motherboard’s durability, quality and reliability. ASUS engineers also conducted thousands of hours of internal testing and validation – ensuring TUF Gaming motherboards provide long term stable performance with a dedicated focus on quality and reliability. The good news is that not only does this board look great but it also performs well enough in all departments to please any gamer.
Its NVIDIA GeForce graphics card with its Max-Q technology enables more intense gaming with increased performance – up to 30% smoother gameplay than previous generation GPUs. Whether you’re interested in AAA titles, or want to run some MMORPGs, this laptop has you covered.
Overall, the ASUS TUF A15 has everything you need in a gaming laptop: responsive keyboard, quality sound system, and powerful components. It’s also reasonably lightweight despite the powerful hardware underneath. With a price tag that is below Rs 80000, this product is competitive with other gaming laptops within its price range.

4. HP Pavilion
Best processor in a gaming laptop under 80000
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800H | GPU: NVIDIA RTX 3050 4GB | RAM: 16GB | Display: 144 Hz 15.6″ anti-glare, micro-edge, Full HD | Weight: 1.98 kg | Storage: 512GB M.2 NVMe PCIe 3.0 SSD
- It has plenty of memory to ensure smooth operations of the applications. The graphics card is good enough to process high end AAA title games in 4k resolution.
- Its SSD storage is reliable, fast and provide adequate storage for all your files. If I was an avid gamer, I’d be worried about the safety of the GPU during long gaming hours.
- Apart from handling high-end games, the Pavilion 15 Gaming Laptop has a 4.1 GHz 8-core APU that handles complex tasks and multi-tasking with equal ease.
- The gaming laptop is ergonomically designed so it is easy to carry around wherever you go.
- The Pavilion 15 Gaming Laptop features the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 graphics card which ensures you get an immersive gaming experience.
- The laptop’s 512 GB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD storage gives you plenty of space for all your files, documents, photos, videos, etc.
- The laptop sports a black and green exterior with a gaming-inspired design for an attractive look.
- HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop is a powerful machine ideal for gamers who like to play on the go.
The HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop is not that heavy at 1.98 kgs, and is a solid, lightweight gaming notebook. With its NVIDIA GeForce RTX graphics and sixteen gigabytes of RAM, the performance is beyond adequate for your everyday activities or office applications. This discrete graphics card is capable to run the most demanding 3D games with high quality settings in 4k resolution, this gaming laptop can also play high levels of video games on high settings without issue. With its comfort level of mobility and ports that help expand your connectivity options, this gaming laptop becomes an excellent choice for students and gamers with minimal trading off of increasing their comfort level.
In addition, its RTX graphics card has plenty of potential for virtual reality games and current AAA titles on a variety of monitors. Add to that the highly responsive smooth glass touchpad and comfortably lit keyboard and you’ve got a very solid gaming laptop.
The HP Pavilion Gaming Notebook is a good choice if you’re looking for a powerful and versatile gaming laptop. It’s one of the only options on the market that offers not only RTX graphics, but 16 GB of DDR4 RAM as well.
The Pavilion Gaming Laptop is a great option for those who want performance, style and value. It performs well and it looks good while doing it. The keyboard could be more kid-proof, but other than that, there are no major complaints. The price is also very low for a laptop with an RTX GPU and an Ryzen 7 + 16 gb RAM.
The only thing stopping this laptop from being perfect is the lack of Thunderbolt 3 ports and the presence of 4 RAM slots. But neither of these will have any negative impact on the processor’s performance, so it’s not a major concern in my opinion. The battery life also falls short of my expectations, but I don’t consider it to be a deal breaker. In general, you can tell that HP has done a lot to make this laptop efficient during its design process, though it’s still not at the same level as their advertising is making it out to be. Truly, the HP Pavilion Gaming 3-114TU is a perfectly capable gaming laptop with all of its features considered and makes for an excellent choice if you’re looking for such a machine under Rs. 80000/-
Design wise, the laptop looks amazing. The metal chassis has a deep blue candy shell finish that adds a touch of elegance to its premium aesthetics. The HP branding is discreetly embossed at the center of the lid and base of the laptop. The hinges are made from metal and feels really sturdy. The gorgeous glossy display is an inch bigger than its predecessor, which was already an excellent choice for gaming, and a slight bend on the bezels makes it look even more elegant. All in all, it looks like one of the flashiest laptops currently available in the market.
I’ve had this laptop for about a month now. And I love it! The display looks amazing. Love playing games on it and watching HD videos on YouTube. The graphic card is perfect and not too strong or too weak. I’ve never experienced any lag while using my computer, even with multiple applications running in the background. I really like the “superspeed” processor as well, which ran at 2.8GHz when I first got the computer but was able to upgrade it to 3.9GHz through the AMD Ryzen Master software. It runs all my apps flawlessly!
Finally, the battery lifeis good considering that the screen is large and the laptop runs very fast. Overall, this laptop is worth every penny.

- Similar to other MSI gaming laptops, the keys come with anti-ghosting technology and you can remap them using the built-in software integrated into Windows 10 OS.
- The trackpad on this laptop is nothing special but its size is perfect for my hands and it is accurate as well. I didn’t face any issues while using it exclusively — without my mouse — during my testing phase.
The MSI Katana GF66 packs in a lot of punch into its slim, lightweight body. It has powerful components such as a 4.50 GHz processor and a 4GB NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050Ti graphics card to help speed along the gaming process. The 144Hz display is amazingly smooth and delivers excellent visuals, perfect for action-packed games or movies.
First of all, let’s start with the design angle. MSI has taken great care to ensure that the overall construction is solid and feels sturdy. The metallic surfaces are covered with a layer of matte finish paint that gives a bit of texture and grit to the surface to prevent it from being too slippery. The device, however, isn’t completely solid, adding to its flexibility.
On the other hand, there are some components that have the tendency to rattle when you shake it. This is particularly true for the right side panel which houses most of the angular speakers. In addition, the space on the right edge where you’ll find all of your ports as well as the power button is another weak point as they can get loose pretty easily. Apart from these minor issues, build quality could be considered to be good overall.
This laptop is lightweight, sleek and stylish enough to take with you wherever you go. Though it’s on the lower end of MSI’s performance laptops, that doesn’t mean this notebook won’t run any program you throw at it without slowing down the speed of your machine. When you’re looking for an affordable gaming option, look no further than the GF66.
All in all, the MSI Katana GF66 is an excellent laptop. It looks fantastic, and performs even better. While it’s not meant for 4K gaming, it can handle mid to top-end gaming with ease, and would be a great option for students who need a lightweight but powerful laptop. It can also serve as an excellent desktop replacement laptop thanks to its long battery life and powerful components. Overall, this model gets our solid recommendation.
The slim design with 3D Fusion technology and Intel Optane Memory lets you experience all your games in their full HD glory. Built-in High-Performance Cooler Boost Trinity cooling system with ventilation holes, one of the best CPU cooler on market, cool your CPU and GPU fast; Easy oversized vents with world’s first GPU-Louver directs more airflow to VRM and Heat pipes for additional cooling. Designed for maximum portability with an ultra-thin form factor – no DVD drive inside makes it not only lighter than other gaming laptops, but substantially more compact as well.
It may not be a perfect laptop, as there are certainly some flaws that one might cite. But it does provide a decent amount of performance for its price. And at minimum, it will give new computers for those young gamers in your life a decent amount of oomph when gaming or watching videos or movies.
If you want a high performance laptop, you should consider getting this works laptop. The physical control is awesome. It has fast charging capability, so it will not let you wait for replacement of the battery. The display is quite nice as well; it is big and clear. All in all, this laptop is every bit as good as similar models that cost substantially more.

7. Lenovo Legion 5
With 120Hz Refresh Rate/Backlit Keyboard and GTX 1650 Graphics
CPU: 5th Gen AMD Ryzen 5 – 5600H | GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 4GB | RAM: 8GB | Display: 120 Hz 15.6″ Full HD | Weight: 2.4 kg | Storage: 512GB M.2 NVMe PCIe 3.0 SSD
When I first started looking at this laptop I was worried it might not be a very good fit for gaming and graphic design. Seeing how 5 of the top top 6 laptops were primarily graphic design oriented, I had to see if this one could provide some competition. At first glance, it did not seem like the right fit. It didn’t have anything about graphics or design. But after doing some more digging into the specs and comparing between other laptops, I found that with some help from my favourite computer brothers at Tom’s Hardware , I discovered that Legion is more than capable of gaming and graphic designing as well.
There’s a lot to be said about the Legion 5. This PC is one of the most versatile in its category and will suit your gaming needs just as well as it will your productivity needs.
So, what makes this PC so great? We’ll start with the display. Legion has outfitted this laptop with a 15.6″ Full HD IPS display that delivers a 120Hz refresh rate, 250nits brightness and 45% NTSC color gamut. The panel is also equipped with Free Sync technology which eliminates screen tearing, stuttering and input lag for smoother gameplay.
The Legion 5 is powered by an 8th Gen AMD Ryzen 5 processor which comes with 6 cores and 12 threads for extreme performance and multi-tasking capabilities. The CPU is paired with 8GB of RAM, which is more than enough for most users today. For storage, there’s 512GB of SSD space, which is fast and reliable with read speeds up to 3200MB/s. Legion has included an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 graphics card in this laptop, which allows for smooth gaming even on high settings.
It’s not just about gaming though; the Legion 5 can handle multitasking with ease thanks to its powerful processor and ample memory (8GB of RAM).
In addition to its powerful processor and graphics card, the Legion 5 offers a great keyboard and an excellent display. To top it off, its battery life is great. The only real drawback is the price, though it’s hard to imagine a better deal for this many features and this much power.
The Lenovo Legion 5 is a good option for gamers looking for a budget-friendly laptop. You’ll get an AMD Ryzen 5 processor and dedicated GTX 1650 graphics, although the latter does not offer overwhelming firepower. The rest of the package is pretty spectacular for something at this price point, however, and it delivers a solid experience without going overboard on costs.
The idea behind the Legion 5 is to hit something of a sweet spot for the gaming market. As mass-market gamers get increasingly more knowledgeable about the parts needed for their PCs, Lenovo and AMD are hoping that they’ll want to keep upgrading their machines with higher-end components over time. The Legion 5 will come in several configurations, and developers haven’t been shy about borrowing parts from other laptops on the market – even some premium models. It’s a calculated move that could help sell its cheapest laptop to consumers while remaining competitive on price.
If you want to work in a fast-paced environment you will love the Lenovo Legion 5 Laptop. It is a very affordable computer, especially for what it comes with, but it still has all the things that you need to be able to work properly and efficiently. The processor and RAM are up-to-date so they can support even the most intensive task you could think of or require. Plus, it takes up very little space as well so if you’re looking for something compact, this is definitely a good choice.

What is the best gaming laptop under 80000 rupees in India?
Recently, our team has been working hard to find the best laptops with a price around 71K to 80k. Most of the time, top brands like MSI, Asus, Alienware are selling laptops in this range and they are also claiming that their laptops are best one in terms of Hardware/Software configs and other features. We have checked all laptops in this range through different features like storage devices, RAM configuration, Processor, Display etc., and found that HP Victus is the best laptop available under 80000 to gamers today.
How to choose?
When buying a laptop, the first thing to consider is which operating system you want to run your games on. Windows 10/11 is the most popular option, with a wide range of games available through Steam, Origin and GOG Galaxy. While Apple’s macOS is also an option, it doesn’t have as many games available for it as Windows does.
Next you should consider whether you want a laptop with a dedicated graphics card or one that uses integrated graphics only. While integrated graphics chips can handle some basic 2D games and casual titles, they aren’t powerful enough for modern 3D titles that require high framerates and cutting edge visuals. If you want to play these kinds of games on your laptop then you should look for one with at least 4GB of dedicated memory. You should also check if the GPU has any kind of overclocking feature built-in so that it can be pushed beyond its stock settings if needed.
Another important factor when choosing a gaming laptop is its display panel type and size. For example, 15-inch displays tend to be more popular than 17-inch ones because they are easier to carry around and fit comfortably on your lap while gaming (although it depends on personal preference).
Here are the points that you need to consider:
Processor: This is the first thing that you have to look at before buying a gaming laptop. The processor determines how fast your system will be and also how much power it will consume while playing games. You should go for a processor like i7 or i5 as they provide better performance than other processors. However, if you want something cheaper then go for an i3 processor.
RAM: The RAM is another important component when it comes to choosing a gaming laptop under 80000. If your RAM is low then it will slow down your system while playing games and make them unresponsive as well. So always go for at least 8GB of RAM in order to enjoy smooth gameplay without any lags or freezes during gameplay.
Graphics Card: You must also check whether your graphics card has enough power or not? This is an important feature because it determines how good your graphics will be while playing high-quality games on your laptop without any lag issues or frame drops during gameplay
To select the right GPU for your needs you’ll need to determine what resolution you’re playing at and whether it is integrated or dedicated. Integrated graphics are good enough if all you’re doing is casual gaming on a laptop, while dedicated GPUs will be able to play high-end 3D games at 1080p resolutions. The size of the memory in the GPU also matters – most high-end cards use GDDR5, but some low-end models use older DDR3 memory instead. If you need more performance then look for cards with faster clockspeeds (which are measured in MHz) and higher core counts.
Top brands
This is a list of the top brands of gaming laptops. This list has been compiled by doing extensive research on the internet and with the help of our readers.
Dell – Dell is one of the biggest players in the laptop world and they offer a wide range of products at different price points. They offer everything from budget laptops to high-end gaming machines. Their gaming line up includes their Alienware brand as well as their Inspiron series which are very popular among gamers.
Asus – Asus has been making laptops since 2005 and they have been making some very good ones over the years. They are known for making high quality products which are also affordable and they make many different types of laptops depending on your needs, whether it be for work or play.
HP – HP has been around since 1939 when Bill Hewlett and Dave Packard first started their company in a garage in Palo Alto, California. Since then they have grown into one of the largest computer companies in the world offering all kinds of products including laptops, desktops and printers among others.
Where to buy best gaming laptops under 80000?
When you are looking to buy best gaming laptops under 80000 in India, you have to be sure of few things. This ensures that you get the right laptop that satisfies your gaming requirements. To find the best and affordable gaming laptops, you can compare prices from different online shopping websites such as Amazon and Tata Cliq, etc. After comparing the prices on various online shopping websites, you also need to check out if warranty is available or not. You should go for a laptop which provides at least 1 years of warranty.
All-around performance
All-around performance is the main thing that determines whether a laptop will be good for gaming or not. Here are some things you can take into consideration when looking at laptops under this price range.
What is an All-around performer? If you’re not in the gaming community, using this term can be confusing. But for gamers, it’s a familiar term. If a new laptop has an Intel Core i7 processor in it, it’s considered great for any task and falls under the category of an all-around performer. The same is true for laptops meant for gaming. If you want to play games on your laptop and also handle other tasks like doing work, watching movies or editing photos, then you want a gaming laptop that will perform well – with enough graphics processing power – across a variety of programs.
A majority of buyers interested in a laptop that is going to handle gaming are well versed in what their wants and needs are. However, it can be difficult for anyone looking to upgrade or purchase a new laptop for gaming to figure out the best option for them. There are so many different options on the market that it can get confusing, even for someone looking to invest in a high-end machine. The first step is knowing what your budget is. Then you need to consider what sort of games you want to play on your laptop — yes, I’m talking about the traditional PC games and serious online gaming, not just surfing Facebook and checking email on the go. Lastly, you will need to figure out if you really need a dedicated graphics card or if integrated graphics will work best for your situation.
If you’re looking for something that will be able to handle any game on the market today, then you need to look at getting an NVIDIA GeForce graphics card. This is one of the most popular brands of graphics cards out there, and they produce some of the best ones as well. You’ll want to get one with at least 4GB of VRAM, as this will ensure that your games run smoothly without lag or slowdown when playing them.
The best part about getting an NVIDIA GeForce graphics card is that they work with all types of devices, including laptops and desktops alike! So if you have multiple devices that need video processing power, then this is definitely something worth looking into!
Choosing The Right GPU
The first thing you need to think about is what kind of games you want to play and how much money you’re willing to spend. If you want to play AAA titles on the highest settings, then you’ll need a powerful graphics card. If your budget is limited, then you can’t expect to get the most powerful GPU available in that price range.
If you’re looking for a laptop that can run any game at 1440p or 4K resolution with high FPS, then you’ll need at least an Nvidia GTX 1060/1070 GPU or AMD Radeon RX 580/570 graphics card.
The latest Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 and RTX 2070 Turing graphics cards are also available, but they’re still quite expensive compared to other cards in this list. If you don’t mind spending more money, then it’s worth getting one of these newer GPUs if they fit your needs and budget requirements better than the previous generation Pascal cards.
There are three main GPUs to consider: Nvidia’s GeForce GTX 1050, 1050 Ti, and 1060; and AMD’s Radeon RX 560 and 570. The 1050 Ti is the least powerful of the two, but it offers a significant performance jump over the 1050 and is generally capable of playing many games at 1080p or lower in high settings. The 1060 is a more powerful card that offers enough power for most games at 1080p, while the 1070 provides a significant performance boost over the 1060 while also allowing you to play some modern titles at 1440p or 4K resolution.
The RX 560 is a solid mid-range card that can provide a good experience in most titles on medium settings at 1080p resolution. It should be noted that this video card does not support SLI (scalable link interface), which means it cannot be used with multiple cards for increased performance. The 570 offers slightly better performance than the 560 and supports SLI, making it an ideal upgrade if you plan on adding additional video cards down the road.
For gamers who want to play demanding titles such as Battlefield 1 or Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, an RTX 2070 will give you enough power for smooth frame rates at 1440p resolution without requiring much compromise.
However, there are also other considerations when choosing a GPU for your gaming laptop:
Heat dissipation – The more powerful the GPU, the more heat it generates. If this isn’t properly managed, it can cause performance bottlenecks or damage components inside your device. So when choosing your mobile GPU, make sure it has sufficient cooling mechanisms built-in to keep temperatures down during heavy use.
Weight – Gaming laptops tend to be heavier than regular laptops because they have beefier hardware inside them. A powerful GPU will add even more weight to your device, so make sure you’re OK carrying around something that weighs 4 pounds or more before buying any product with an overpowered graphics chip inside (or else you’ll end up regretting buying a gaming laptop altogether).
In general, the higher the graphics card’s clock speed, the faster it will run, and the more games it will be able to handle at high settings. You also need to take into account how much power a game requires to run well on your chosen graphics card. If you’re looking for a portable system that can handle some of today’s more demanding games like Battlefield 1 or Mass Effect: Andromeda at high settings, then you’ll want a card with at least 8GB of VRAM. On the other hand, if you just want something that can play Counter-Strike: Global Offensive at medium settings on battery power, you’ll be fine with a 4GB card.
As far as cooling goes, most laptops use fans to dissipate heat from the CPU and GPU. However, some laptops use liquid cooling systems (i.e., they circulate liquid through an external radiator) because they tend to run hotter than others do under load. Liquid cooling systems are generally quieter than fan-based ones because there’s no moving parts involved.
AMD Radeon Vega 56 is a solid option if you’re looking for something at a mid-range price point. It has 8GB of memory and 2,048 stream processors clocked at 1,156MHz. The GPU is based on AMD’s RX Vega architecture and comes with all of its features like FreeSync support and HDMI 2.0b output. This means that despite its low price tag, this card can still handle most modern games at 1080p resolution without any problem whatsoever (even though you’ll probably want to ramp down some of the settings). There are also variants available that offer 16GB of GDDR5X RAM instead of 8GB GDDR5 RAM (like our pick). This would be more expensive but would likely result in better performance for high-end games such as Battlefield V.
Buying a Laptop with a Good Processor
Most people think that the processor is more important than anything else when it comes to choosing a laptop for gaming. This is not true because most modern games will run smoothly even if you have an average processor. You need to make sure that your processor is powerful enough for playing games at high settings and resolution. For example, if you want to play games at 1080p on high settings with 60fps+, then at least Intel Core i5 or AMD FX-8350 is required (or better). You can also look at other options like AMD Ryzen 5 2600X if you want too much power for your money.
The core count determines how many tasks can be executed simultaneously by a processor. A higher core count means better performance, as more tasks can be completed at the same time.
The threads determine how many instructions can be processed in parallel by a processor. If you are looking for a gaming laptop with good performance, you should get one with at least 4 cores and 8 threads, or preferably 6 cores and 12 threads.
Clock Spped –
The clock speed of a processor is measured in gigahertz (GHz). This number shows how many billions of operations a second can be done by the CPU. The faster this number is, the better it will be for gaming purposes.
The speed of a processor is measured in GHz (Gigahertz) or GHz (gigahertz). The higher its value, the faster your computer will run. For example, an Intel i7-9750H has a clock speed of 2.6GHz while an Intel i7-8750H has a clock speed of 2.2GHz. You should consider getting a laptop with 4 cores with each core having at least 3GHz or more to ensure that your laptop won’t lag while playing games or using applications like video editors or photo editors because they require more power than normal applications do so they can’t be run on weak processors that have lower clock speeds.
Cores –
A core is basically a processor inside of your computer that handles tasks such as running software and playing games. So, if you have a quad-core processor, then it means there are four cores inside of your CPU that work together to make things happen quickly. Most processors are dual-core or quad-core these days, but there are some hexa-core processors out there too!
Threads –
A thread is basically like a virtual machine within your computer that helps it perform multiple tasks at once. Having multiple threads allows for more efficiency with processing power as well as better multi-tasking capabilities when playing games or doing other things on your laptop at once.
Threads are another way to measure how many things your computer can do at once by splitting them into smaller parts. Having more threads will result in faster performance because each thread can perform an individual task at the same time rather than having all threads performing one big task at one time which would take longer and make your computer slow down when trying to perform other tasks while it’s working on something else
Opting for SSDs & NVMe drives
The SSD is the best option for a gaming laptop because it offers the fastest boot times and file access speeds. In addition, you won’t have to deal with any potential storage issues that come with traditional hard drives.
The NVMe drives are the best choice for gamers who want the fastest read and write speeds possible. They’re also much more expensive than SATA drives, so keep that in mind when budgeting for your new machine.
In addition to getting a good SSD or NVMe drive, you need to know how much memory you want and how much you can afford to spend on it.
SSDs (solid-state drives) and NVMe (nonvolatile memory express) drives are the fastest storage options available for gaming laptops. An SSD can speed up the load times of games, boot up your operating system, and load programs in seconds. NVMe drives are even faster than solid-state drives but are more expensive. These drives are also much smaller in capacity but can be used for a variety of purposes such as storing large files like movies or music. Not all SSDs and NVMe drives are made equal though. You’ll need to do some research to make sure you’re getting the best deal possible before making a purchase.
What specifications should I look for in a gaming laptop?
- Memory (RAM): 8GB is good enough. 16GB is ideal if you have the extra cash.
- Intel Core i5 or better processor.
- GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 or AMD Radeon RX 560X
- Screen resolution: 720p screen minimum, 1080p screen preferable but not absolutely necessary
- Dedicated graphics card – if the graphics card is not specified, the computer’s chipset will provide both the CPU and GPU functionality.
- 15-inch screen resolution.
- Section: SSD drive storage.
- Internet connectivity options.
- Be sure to look for these specific things in any gaming laptop you’re considering purchasing
The first thing to consider is the processor (CPU). A good starting point is an Intel Core i5, which comes with four cores that can handle most games without any issues. If you want to get more power out of your CPU, then consider an Intel Core i7. It has eight cores and is capable of handling more demanding applications.
The next thing is the graphics card (GPU). This is what will handle all the heavy lifting when it comes to processing complex 3D graphics and rendering realistic images on screen. When it comes to choosing a GPU, there are two main options: integrated graphics or dedicated graphics cards (also known as discrete graphics cards). Integrated graphics are built into the CPU chip itself and use its own memory (RAM) instead of needing separate RAM dedicated solely for this task. Dedicated GPUs work independently from the CPU and have their own RAM; this means they can work faster than integrated GPUs because they don’t have to share resources with other components on the motherboard (motherboard).
Budget
The first thing you should do when looking for a gaming laptop is figuring out how much money you have available for it. This will be the main factor in determining the kind of device you can buy — there’s no point in spending tons of money on a high-end device if you don’t have enough money left for games or other accessories like an external monitor or mousepad.
If your budget is limited but you want to get good value for your money, look at some high-end models with weaker GPUs or CPUs that will still perform well enough for most games at medium settings (1080p resolution). You’ll also find cheaper options with strong GPUs that can handle higher resolutions and settings (1440p or 4K) but require more powerful CPUs to run smoothly.
A good gaming laptop should have a fast processor, high-quality graphics card and plenty of storage space. For example, the Asus ROG Strix GL502VS-DB71 is an excellent laptop for working on the go but still powerful enough to handle many of today’s games. If you want a more portable gaming experience, consider the Gigabyte Aero 15X or MSI GS65 Stealth series.
In most cases, you’ll want a laptop with an Intel Core i7 processor or AMD Ryzen 5 or better. Those chips will provide enough power for even demanding gaming sessions and are also capable of handling other tasks like editing video files and rendering 3D graphics. The best performing processors are typically from Intel’s latest eighth generation family, which includes the Core i9-8950HK and i7-9750H. The latter has eight cores and 16 threads while the former only has six cores but supports Hyper-Threading technology (which allows each core to work on two threads simultaneously).
Some gaming laptops use Nvidia’s Max-Q design approach, which uses lower clock speeds to improve battery life and make it easier to cool down your laptop during intense gaming sessions. While that’s fine in theory, in practice it results in lower performance compared to desktops with similar specs.
Which RAM is good for gaming laptops?
Don’t go cheap on RAM –
The amount of RAM (random access memory) in your laptop will have a huge impact on how well it runs games. Many game developers have minimum requirements when it comes to RAM requirements, so using less than what they recommend could cause performance issues or even prevent you from playing their games altogether. If you want to avoid these problems, make sure that your laptop has at least 8GB of RAM installed so that you don’t run into issues during gameplay.
RAM is one of the most important components in a gaming laptop. Without enough RAM, even the most powerful GPU won’t be able to run games smoothly.
The best RAM for gaming laptops is DDR4, which can be found in most modern gaming laptops. However, there are still some older models that use DDR3 or DDR2 RAM.
You should also look at the speed of your RAM — faster speeds mean better performance in games and other demanding applications.
The most common RAM for gaming laptops is DDR4. The higher the speed, the better the performance, but you’ll also pay more for it.
The RAM (random access memory) is important because it determines how many tasks your system can handle at once. The more RAM you have, the more tasks you can do at the same time. You’ll also want to look at how much RAM the computer has compared to its other specs — for example, if you’re buying a gaming laptop with 16GB of RAM and an i7-8750H processor, that’s great! But if it also has an i5-8300H processor, then it might not be able to run as many programs simultaneously as one with an i7-8750H processor and 16GB of RAM.
Get a large screen
If you want to play games on your laptop, then it makes sense to get a large screen so that you can have the best experience while playing your favourite game. A larger display has better resolution and colour contrast, which means that you will be able to see more details in the game and have better visibility of what is going on around you.
A good gaming laptop needs to have a good display. The display size should be at least 15 inches, with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. Higher resolutions are preferred, as they provide more space for activities and gaming experience.
Laptop Size –
Gaming laptops tend to be larger than their non-gaming counterparts due to the size and type of components they contain. However, there are smaller models available if you’re willing to sacrifice some performance for portability.
Response time and Refresh Rate
The first thing you need to consider when buying a gaming laptop is the response time. It’s not just about how fast the screen refreshes, but rather how quickly the image on screen changes as you move it. The human eye is capable of seeing an image change in as little as 17ms (milliseconds) in certain cases, and anything lower than that should be fine for most people.
A faster response time means that pixels can change colors faster, which leads to less ghosting in games and smoother overall gameplay. Higher response times mean better picture quality but also tend to drain more battery power on laptops with integrated displays. Most displays nowadays have response times between 8ms and 10ms, but there are some exceptions like IPS panels which can reach up to 16ms or even more depending on their quality and technology used (more about this later).
The refresh rate is another important factor to consider when buying a gaming laptop. The refresh rate refers to how many times per second (or Hertz) the display can update with new information. This value is measured in Hz, with most monitors at 60Hz, although some newer models are capable of reaching 144Hz or even 240Hz.
The next thing you should look out for when buying a gaming laptop is the color depth – also known as bit depth – which refers to the number of colors your display can display at one time (8-bit or 16-bit). The higher this value, the better quality images you’ll see on your screen when playing games or watching movies.
The refresh rate of your monitor refers to how many times per second the image on its display updates itself. Low-end panels have a 60Hz refresh rate and high-end panels can reach up to 144Hz or even 240Hz, but anything above 100Hz is going to make a noticeable difference when playing games.
RGB stands for red, green and blue. RGB lighting is used in many gaming laptops to make them look cooler, but that’s not all it does: RGB lighting also tells you when your laptop’s battery is low or if it’s overheating.
Cooling –
The cooling system on a laptop is crucial for its performance and longevity. If the cooling system is weak or inefficient, it could cause the laptop to overheat and damage internal components. If your gaming laptop has a poor cooling system, you may have to spend money on an external cooling pad or device.
Keyboard –
The keyboard is an important part of a gaming laptop because it will affect your gameplay. The keyboard should be comfortable and has good key travel and key spacing so that you can type fast without making any mistakes. If possible try out the keyboard before buying it so that you know if it suits your requirements or not.
Conclusion
So, as you can see from this list, not all gaming laptops are made equal. If you’re in the market for a gaming laptop, we encourage you to do your research and find what works best for your needs. It’s hard to go wrong with any of these laptops on this list—even though they might fall under different categories—and each one will get the job done. The most important thing is that it meets your budget and that it fits your gaming needs. For those wondering what the best thing about this laptop is: nothing beats a good keyboard and trackpad–especially in a gaming mouse vs trackpad battle.
