ASUS ROG Strix G17
Best 17 inch gaming laptop under 1 Lakh
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 4800H | GPU: NVIDIA RTX 3050 4GB | RAM: 8GB | Display: 144 Hz 17.3″ Full HD thin bezel display | Weight: 2.4kg | Storage: 512GB
- The design is absolutely phenomenal. Rubberized finish looks beautiful. I wish it had an option for red backlit keyboard too.
- Build quality (10/10) : It feels very solid and sturdy overall.
- Display (10/10) : I am very happy with this display.
- Audio quality (9/10) : Eargasmic audio quality. Panels are loud and clear. I personally found the speakers to be little on the bassy side.
- Keyboard (9/10) : It’s a bit clacky, especially when gaming while laying on bed but I still like it.
- Good screen with 144Hz refresh rate. I would have loved a 300Hz but it’s a bit expensive. G-sync works flawlessly.
- Overall, I am very satisfied with this laptop!
The ASUS ROG Strix G17 gaming laptop is a lightweight and durable design, made for gaming on the go. The new branded Copper Thermal Compound reduces heat transfer between the CPU and GPU by 18% when compared to previous thermal solutions. The sturdy Notebook Cooler guarantees efficient heat dissipation even under tough conditions, such as long gaming sessions.
Meet the ASUS ROG Strix G17 , a true gaming laptop with a slim yet powerful form and no unnecessary bloatware. And it’s built to win. Equipped with the latest AMD Ryzen 7 4800H and NVIDIA GeForce RTX graphics, this 17-inch gaming beast delivers fast responsiveness and smooth graphics for full immersion in your games. On top of that, its 144 Hz panel makes everything smoother, while the expansive 88 Wh Li-ion battery provides hours and hours of back-to-back gameplay. The ROG Strix G17 is all you need to get ahead of the game anytime, anywhere—in both work and play.
The ASUS ROG Strix G17 gaming laptop has a bold look that’s accentuated with striking copper lines and red accents. Not only does it have powerful components under the hood, but it is also equipped with ample storage and memory for your gaming needs. The laptop comes with a lot of features that you would expect from such a high-end device. The keyboard is well spaced with proper key travel distance. I can touch type on this keyboard with no problems whatsover. However, backlit has a problem as it’s not consistent in terms of brightness all over the keyboard.
My other A15 laptop has the same AMD Ryzen 7 4800H processor. For example: at one point, I was playing CSGO and streaming at the same time on my Skylake-HQ laptop with GeForce 960M. My fps went down from 120 to 60 fps constantly because of the memory bottleneck that Skylake-HQ can’t handle 8GB of RAM properly and quickly enough. Even with just 1.5 GB of RAM used by Counter Strike Global Offensive, my FPS goes bad very often on that Skylake-HQ gaming laptop. But on this Asus ROG Strix G17 works well under similar conditions. That’s the astonishing performance difference between them even though they have same CPU and GPU.
ASUS ROG Strix G17 is the most suitable laptop for those who want to enjoy gaming with a big display and don’t need to travel around too much. It does deliver really well in terms of performance even though it has a low capacity battery. I think anyone can easily fall in love with this laptop due to its lightweight, beautiful design and high processing power system. I surely recommend this laptop for anyone who wants above average graphics card performance but does not want to spend too much on their laptops as well.
In conclusion, ROG Strix G17 is a very well-made gaming notebook. It has the look, it’s packed with all top notch gaming components and most importantly; it’s a laptop that feels very sturdy. The packaging is abit weird, but that’s something I don’t care about at all. Overall, this ROG Strix G17 surely earns its tag as a true Gaming Beast!

Lenovo Ideapad 330 Gaming Laptop is a gaming laptop that comes with high core AMD Ryzen 7 5800H processor. This processor has a base speed of 3.2 GHz and a maximum speed of 4.4 GHz which is very good as our increasing professional work needs faster processing power to carry out.
With 8 cores and 16 threads, the processor provides uninterrupted performance to multiple applications running simultaneously. 16GB RAM DDR4-3200 memory allows the device to run light gaming tasks smoothly.
The laptop is solidly built with excellent hinges and does not suffer from any flexes even under high pressure. The keyboard is sturdy with decent feedback and key travel. The trackpad, however, leaves something to be desired since it’s slightly small and lacks any dedicated buttons. When it comes to buy a laptop, there are several factors you have to consider. The laptop’s display is one of the most vital components since you’ll be spending a lot of your time staring at it. Lenovo Ideapad 3 provides HD display with its 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution. This means you can easily run programs and see every single window without being restricted by the small screen space. It also comes with automatic brightness control that keeps your eyes comfortable so that your work is always done with fewer distractions.
The Ideapad 3 has been certified to meet the rigorous demands of military field units. It has successfully passed a series of shock, drop, and temperature tests – in compliance with the Department Of Defense (DoD) 810F Military Standard. How to buy a gaming laptop?
If you want to game on the go, a gaming laptop is the way to go. Gaming laptops are more powerful and expensive than ever, but they’re also portable and can handle most modern games at a decent frame rate.
However, buying one isn’t easy. With so many options out there, how do you know which one is right for you? And how do you tell if it’s worth the price?
There are plenty of things to consider when buying a gaming laptop:
Processor: How fast does it run? Does it have enough cores? Is it energy efficient?
Graphics card: High-end GPUs offer better performance but also consume more power and generate more heat.
Display: A higher resolution display offers crisper images but drains more power and costs more money.
Storage: Solid-state drives offer far faster speeds than traditional hard drives but cost significantly more money per gigabyte of storage.
Battery life: The longer your battery lasts without needing to be charged, the better off you’ll be while gaming or watching movies on the go.
Size and weight: Gaming laptops are usually larger and heavier than standard laptops. If you want something that is small and light but powerful enough for your needs, then you’re going to have to spend more money.
RAM: The RAM is also an important thing to look out for when buying a gaming laptop because it affects the speed of your computer significantly.
As with any computer, the performance of your machine will be determined by two main components: the graphics card and the processor.
CPU(central processor unit)
The CPU is the brain of your computer. It handles everything from application processing to input/output operations. The CPU can be a single core or multiple cores.
A single core processor is better for basic tasks like word processing and web browsing. A dual-core processor is better for multi-tasking, like running antivirus software while surfing the web and checking email at the same time. A quad-core processor is better for 3D gaming and multimedia editing.
You can choose between two main types of CPU: Intel or AMD.
Intel CPUs are generally cheaper and more powerful than AMD CPUs. However, they often have a higher TDP rating (thermal design power), which means they will get hotter when used for longer periods of time.
AMD processors offer better value for money and do not get as hot as Intel processors. However, they are also less powerful than their Intel counterparts and tend to be behind on performance improvements.
Threads are basically multiple processes running on one core at the same time which makes it more efficient than only having one process running on a single core at any point in time. This allows you to multitask efficiently without any issues when performing complex tasks like rendering video or playing games. You should look for laptops with at least 8 threads but if you want something better then there are models with up to 16 threads available in the market today.
Cores refer to each individual processor working together as a unit so higher core count means more power and better performance from your laptop’s CPU. If you want high performance from your laptop then you should go for laptops with at least 6 cores as these will be able to handle most tasks smoothly without issues.
The amount of threads in a CPU determines how many tasks it can perform at once. A single-threaded CPU can only perform one task at a time while multi-threaded CPUs can perform multiple tasks at once. So if you want a laptop that can handle high-intensity tasks like playing League of Legends while streaming Netflix on Twitch, then get a multi-threaded CPU like the Core i7 9th Gen or Ryzen 7 2700U.
If you’re looking for a high-performance gaming laptop but aren’t willing to spend thousands of dollars, then consider one with Intel’s Turbo Boost Technology. This technology allows your system to automatically increase its clock speed when needed so that you can play games at higher resolutions without experiencing lag or stuttering graphics.
The speed of a CPU is measured in GHz (gigahertz). The higher the GHz number, the faster it can process information. For example, if two CPUs have the same number of cores but different base speeds, then the faster one will perform better than the slower one in all situations except when both CPUs are maxed out at 100% utilization (which isn’t likely). You can compare different CPUs by looking at their clock speeds and core counts online or on spec sheets included with or inside your laptop’s packaging box.
A good choice for laptops that need to play games well is an Intel Core i7-8750H processor from Intel’s 8th Generation Coffee Lake family of chipsets. It has six physical cores (or “cores”) and hyperthreading support for a total of twelve threads of execution — more than enough
Size of the gaming laptop –
The size of the laptop is one of the most important factors when you are buying a gaming laptop because it determines how portable it will be. If you plan on taking your laptop with you everywhere then size is very important because it will determine how easy it is to carry around with you and how much space it takes up in your bag or backpack. If however, you’re going to be using it mostly at home then portability isn’t as important but screen size still matters because bigger screens allow for better immersion into games and movies.
If you’re looking for a gaming laptop, you’ve probably noticed that there are a lot of different sizes available. But when it comes to choosing the right one, bigger isn’t always better.
Here’s what you need to know about the different sizes of gaming laptops:
15-inch: This size is ideal if you’re looking for a portable gaming machine that can be taken anywhere with ease. It’s not as powerful as larger laptops, but it’s still more than capable of playing games at high settings and resolutions.
17-inch: This is the largest size available for gaming laptops, and it’s much more powerful than 15″ models. However, they’re also heavier and harder to carry around than smaller models. Also keep in mind that 17″ laptops usually don’t come with touchscreens or other extra features like fingerprint readers or webcam covers (and even if they do have these things, they won’t be as well implemented as on smaller models).
Minimum Hard Drive Space?
The minimum hard drive space you need on a gaming PC depends on whether you plan to install games on it or not. If you do plan to install games on your system, we recommend at least 500GB of storage space. If not, 250GB should be enough.
Minimum Graphics Card?
The graphics card (GPU) should have at least 4GB of memory and be able to render high-quality graphics for your games. The best GPUs for gaming laptops are Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 and GTX 1070 models — these cards are capable of rendering most AAA titles at 1080p resolution easily with medium-high settings, so they’re great options if you want to play games like Overwatch or Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 on medium settings without sacrificing graphical fidelity (or just want to play some older games). You can also find cards that support 4K output if you’re looking for something
What kind of processor do I need for my gaming laptop?
You need to decide whether you want an Intel Core i5, Ryzen 5/7 or an Intel Core i7 processor for your gaming laptop. If you are looking to play high-end games like Battlefield 1, Call of Duty Infinite Warfare, or GTA V then we recommend getting an Intel Core i7 processor as they offer better performance than the i5 processors but not by much so if budget is a concern then go with an Intel Core i5 or Ryzen 5 instead.
The main difference between these two processors is that the i5 series has hyper-threading technology which allows each core to act like 2 cores while simultaneously running multiple threads while performing different tasks resulting in faster processing speeds and better multitasking capabilities.
Minimum RAM in a gaming Laptop?
RAM is one of the most important parts of a gaming laptop because it determines how many applications can run simultaneously without slowing down your system. The amount of RAM you need depends on what you want to do with your laptop. If all you want to do is play games, then 8GB should be enough for most people. However, if you plan on multitasking or doing other CPU-intensive tasks such as video editing or image manipulation, then 16GB would be better.
If you want to play games at high settings, then get a GPU that has at least 8GB of dedicated memory (VRAM). This will ensure that your graphics card doesn’t slow down while playing demanding games like Battlefield 1 or GTA V.
You will be able to play all these games with 8GB of RAM:
- Call of Duty Black Ops III.
- Tom Clancy’s The Division 2.
- Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Blacklist.
- Fortnite Battle Royale.
- Forza Horizon 4.
- Rise of the Tomb Raider.
- Player Unknown’s Battleground (PUBG)
Storage is one of the most important components in a gaming laptop. It can be tempting to skimp on storage, but we recommend buying at least two drives — an SSD and a HDD. The SSD should store your operating system and any applications you can’t live without, while the HDD should hold everything else. The better the quality of your storage, the faster your computer will run and the longer it will last. In addition, there are plenty of external storage options that can expand your storage space if needed.
We recommend using an SSD drive with a capacity of 256GB or larger as your primary drive. For gaming purposes, this should be enough space for most games and other software programs you want to install on your computer. If you need more space for large files like videos or photos though, then we recommend adding another 1TB or 2TB hard drive in addition to the primary SSD drive we recommended above. You could also choose a hybrid SSD/HDD setup like Samsung’s 860 EVO which uses
SSD- You’ll want to get as much storage capacity as possible so that games don’t need to be installed on the SSD, which makes them faster when loading up. All of our laptops come with SSD drives that start at 256GB and go all the way up to 2TB capacity. The more space you have, the more games and other files you’ll be able to store on your laptop without worrying about their size!
NVME- Nowadays, NVME drives are standard in most high-end gaming laptops because they offer better performance than SATA III drives with less power consumption and heat output compared to traditional HDDs
Upgrade potential in the gaming laptop
You must consider the upgrade potential of your gaming laptop before buying one. If you want to upgrade the memory or storage, then you need a gaming laptop with upgradable parts.
The best gaming laptops come with a SSD and RAM slots. You can upgrade them as per your needs and preferences.
Can we buy a good Gaming Laptop under 1 Lakh?
The answer is “yes”. You can buy a good gaming laptop under 1 lakh rupees.
There are many gaming laptops under 1 lakh rupees that offer good performance, display quality, and battery life. The only problem with them is that they are not as powerful as the premium ones but that doesn’t mean they cannot play high-end games like PUBG, GTA 5, NFS Payback etc.
What is the best gaming laptop brand?
The best gaming laptops come from brands like Asus, MSI, HP, Lenovo and Dell, which have been making computers for decades. These companies offer premium performance at affordable prices.
Where to find the best gaming laptop deals in India?
The gaming laptop market is one of the most lucrative and competitive. With new devices being announced every year, it can be difficult to find the best gaming laptop deal.
Here are some places where you can find the best gaming laptop deals in India:
Amazon: Amazon is one of the biggest retailers on the internet and offers a wide range of products at attractive prices. When it comes to laptops, Amazon offers a variety of brands, including Acer, Dell and HP. As a bonus, you get free shipping if you’re an Amazon Prime member.
Flipkart: Flipkart is another major retailer in India that sells laptops from many different brands at competitive prices. You can also get free shipping if you’re an ELITE member (which requires an annual subscription fee). Flipkart also usually has sales or offers where they discount certain models by up to 40%.
What should I look for in a cheap gaming laptop?
The first thing you should look for when buying a gaming laptop is the processor. If you’re going to be playing games, you’ll want a good one. Most modern processors are fine for basic tasks like surfing the web and word processing, but they’re not powerful enough to run more demanding software like video games or video editing software.
You can get by with an Intel Core i5 or AMD Ryzen series processor if you’re using your laptop primarily for these kinds of tasks, but if you want to play games, then it’s best to go for something more powerful. The next step up from there is an Intel Core i7 or AMD FX series chip. These are much better suited for gaming than the lower-end chips and will give you smooth frame rates even at higher resolutions and quality settings.
The other thing to consider is RAM (random access memory). RAM isn’t as important as CPU power when it comes to gaming computers because most games don’t need much memory beyond what’s already built into the system itself (though some high-end titles might need more). However, more RAM means less lag time between clicking on something and it happening on screen — so if you want a responsive experience while playing games, then make sure that your laptop has enough RAM.
If there’s one part of your laptop that really matters, it’s the keyboard. The keyboard is how you interact with your computer and control it, so it has to be comfortable and responsive. If it isn’t, then your entire experience with the machine will suffer (and no one likes an uncomfortable keyboard). Look for a mechanical keyboard, which has individual switches for each key instead of a flat surface like on most laptops. This leads to higher durability and better feel when pressing down on keys.
The keyboard is an important part of any laptop because it lets you type comfortably and quickly while also giving you access to shortcuts for various functions such as volume control and brightness adjustment etcetera. Keyboards are usually rated based on how much pressure it takes for them to register each keystroke (which is called actuation force). The more pressure required, the more accurate your typing will be but it might take some getting used to if you’re switching from another keyboard brand or model altogether.
Backlight and RGB –
Backlit keyboards are becoming more common as well, with many manufacturers offering them as an optional extra. This feature isn’t necessary but can come in handy if you like playing games at night or in dark rooms where there’s little light available. Some keyboards even offer RGB lighting effects to add some personality to your setup.
Cooling is one of the most important things to look for when buying a gaming laptop. The processor and graphics card inside your laptop generate heat, which needs to be dissipated effectively so that your machine doesn’t overheat and shut down unexpectedly.
The cooling system in a gaming laptop is designed to keep temperatures within a safe range even during heavy usage. Some laptops have multiple fans while others come with liquid cooling technology. In a gaming laptop you can expect at least two fans to keep the temperature under check.
If you are still looking for the best gaming laptop under 1 lakh then have a look at above mention gaming laptops. You will get the best gaming experience with these laptops. It is because, all laptops that have been mentioned above have the best configuration and highest gaming performance in this budget.
These laptops will help you to play all new upcoming games like Far cry primal, assassin’s creed Syndicate, Call of Duty black ops 3, fifa 16 & many other games on high graphics settings without any lag or slow down in frame rate. If you are a hard core gamer then you should go with i7, Ryzen 5 or Ryzen 7 processor powered laptop but if you don’t want to spend more money and looking for something affordable then choose one a i5 or Ryzen 3 gaming laptop..
At the end of the day, it’s all up to you to decide on the best gaming laptop under 1 lakh.
